SRINAGAR, Sept 26: Army today said that it is sustaining its efforts to reach out to the people in order to instill confidence in them ‘to continue with their normal lives without the fear of the inimical forces’.
A defence spokesman said here: “be it the medical camp at Devsar in Kulgam which saw a large turnout of people from Dardgund, Hillmutri, Akhal and Lakarpambai or the warm interactions with elders, youth and other prominent citizens of Kathohalan, Prambhu, Shar and Khonmouh, Zoramanloo, the common thread was the Army’s message to the people that ‘we are here to care, we care to hear, we care to share’.”
He said the Army and other Government agencies have been making ernest appeals to the people to eschew violence and embrace the path of peace and harmony.
