JAMMU, Feb 4: Defeating Reasi Cricket Club convincingly in the quarterfinals, Eidgah Cricket Club sealed berth in the semifinals of the ongoing KC Sports Club T20 Cricket Cup 2018, being played at KC School ground, here.
Earlier, batting first, ECC scored 170 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Irfan, Zawar and Mufti Zahid contributed 45, 31 and 30 runs to the total respectively. Atul took 3 wickets and Rahat bagged 2 wickets.
While chasing the target, RCC bundled out for 130 runs, thus lost the match by 40 runs. Kapil Sharma and Veer Singh made 45 and 35 runs respectively. Yawar took 5 important wickets, while Irfan claimed 2 wickets. Yawar of ECC was declared as the man of the match.
The match was officiated by Vijay Raina, Ashok Singh and Sanjay Raina.
