DODA, Apr 29: Eight bovine animals were rescued today by Dessa police from a smuggler.
According to a police official, on specific information a police party of police station Dessa led by Incharge police post Bhata laid a naka at Bhakandhar (Dessa) and during naka checking intercepted a bovines smuggler namely Mohd Sharif of Jugraha Sinabhati, tehsil Pogal Paristan and rescued eight bovine animals from his clutches.
The whole operation was conducted under the supervision of Deputy SP Headquarters, Doda, Iftkhar Ahmed. In this connection, a case FIR No 05/2018 under Sections 188 RPC, 3 PC Act has been registered at police station Dessa and further investigations are going on.
