RAMBAN, Nov 11: Eight persons including a lady sustained injuries after they were attacked and bitten by Dogs in different areas of Banihal here today. Reportedly stray or mad dogs wreaked havoc in Banihal and adjoining areas by biting scores of people on Saturday.
Locals said Dogs suddenly appeared in and around Banihal town and attacked and injured them.
Hospital authorities of Sub District Hospital Banihal confirmed receiving eight dog bite cases from various areas of Banihal today having minor injuries all were administered anti rabies vaccine.
They said all the eight people were discharged from Hospital.
The victims are identified as Gulzar Ahmed 35, S/o Noor Din, R/o Chinar Gali Banihal, Jana Begum 60 W/o Lassu Sheikh, R/o Doligam Banihal. Abdulla Sheikh 65, S/o Shaban Sheikh, R/o Chareel Banihal, Saifullah Khan 65, S/o Qader Khan , R/o Kaskoot Banihal, Muna 60, R/o Shiv Raj, R/o UP, Chul Bhul 20, S/o Haleem, R/o UP, Azazul 20, S/o Anees Ahmed UP and Mushtaq Ahmed 21, S/o Bashir Ahmed Kisana. R/o Ramsoo, A/P Madarsa Student at Darsgah Nagbal Banihal.
