JAMMU, Apr 22: Eight persons were injured today when a minibus rolled down the road at Raipur-Satwari in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, the mishap occurred this afternoon at about 12.30 pm when a mini-bus bearing registration number JK02P-6405 was on its way from Satwari to Phallain Mandal.
He said that eight passengers of the mini-bus got minor injuries in the mishap and were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment.
The injured were identified as Neru Devi (21) wife of Ankush Kumar of Khari, Ankush Kumar (22) son of Baba Ram of Khari, Ram Dass (26) son of Durga Dass of Prambali, Sapna (20) daughter of Dhain Chand of Khari, Sudagar Chand (30) son of Ghain Chand of Lalyal, Baba Ram (55) son of Mangal Dass of Khari and Asha (55) wife of Ram Dass, resident of Prambali and Levesh Kumar (2) son of Ankush Kumar of Khari.
A case in this connection was registered at police station and investigations started.
