Srinagar Apr 1: Police today said that eight persons were injured in two separate road accidents in Baramulla and Leh districts.
A police spokesman said that an Auto load carrier bearing registration number JK05-7425 turned turtle at Kunzar in Baramulla district, resulting in injuries to six persons.
“All the injured were shifted to PHC Kunzar for treatment, where from they were referred to JVC Hospital Srinagar for further treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The spokesman said a 207 vehicle bearing registration number JK 10 -4079 driven by Faquar Ali collided with a Van bearing registration number JK10-0603 driven by Tsewang Tashi at AIP Port crossing in Leh district, resulting in injuries to both the drivers.
“Both the injured were shifted to SNM hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
