Eight vehicles involved in illegal mining seized

JAMMU, July 24: Jammu Police has seized eight vehicles involved in illegal mining from different parts of the district.
According to a police spokesman, two tractor-trolleys bearing chasis numbers 16801 and 46753 and a JCB bearing registration number JK02CP-7213 were seized by Police Station Nagrota while a tipper without registration number was seized by Police Post Residency Road and another tipper bearing registration number JK02AN-9586 was seized by Police Station Akhnoor.
He said similarly, three tractor-trolleys bearing registration numbers JK02CV-8458, JK02BE-0789 and JK02CW-1108 were seized by Police Station Arnia, Police Post Talab Tillo and Border Police Post Gajansoo, respectively.
The DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same, the spokesman added.
