EJAC demands release of 3 pending DA installments

JAMMU, Nov 24: The Govt Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) has demanded release arrears of pending three installments of DA in favour of Government employees and pensioners.
Senior members of the EJAC including Babu Hussain Malik, Yash Paul Sharma, Darshan Magotra and others while talking to media-persons here today alleged that J&K UT Administration was neglecting the issues of the employees and workers despite repeated representations and protests by them. They said the employees have been appealed to assemble near Press Club on December 7 for next course of action.
They demanded release of pending arrears of three installments of DA since 01-01-2020 to 30-06-2021. They also demanded implementation of SRO-43 in letter and spirit, holding of DPC of employees regularly, re-engagement of 900 helpers in ICDS, regularise all the daily wagers/ casual/ Asha workers, contractual Lecturers, NRHM, REJ, REK employees; implementation of Minimum Wages Act, removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre/ make amendment in SRO-333, increase medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month of employees and pensioners.
