EJAC demands removal of pay anomalies

JAMMU, Feb 23: The Jammu and Kashmir State Govt Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC)  has urged upon the State Government to remove pay anomalies and release 17 % DA in favour of employees and pensioners.
In a State level meeting of  the EJAC-K held here today under the chairmanship of Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, the members,  discussed the pending issues of the employees. They criticized the State Government for its failure to resolve the pending issues of the employees. They alleged that Government has maintained its criminal silence over the matter.
The main demands included removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre, additional budgetary support to all the PSUs, release of 17 % DA,  enhancement of medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month, regularization of ad hoc, contractual, NRHM, need base and daily rated/ consolidated workers.
Prominent among others present in the meeting included  Balvinder Singh, Ravi Singh Bhau, Dharminder Singh, Nazir Ahmed Bhat, Ravinder Singh, Shahid Hussain, Mohan Lal, Rohit George and Yash Pal Sharma.
