SRINAGAR, Dec 28: The Qayoom faction of Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) has asked the Government employees to get ready for another showdown for three days from January 8 next year.
In a statement, a spokesman of EJAC-Q said that the State Government should fulfill the demands of the employees at the earliest otherwise they would come on streets and lodge their protest. The spokesman said that the employees would observe three day pen down strike on January 8, 9 and 10.
The spokesman said that on January 8 protests would be held across the length and breadth of the State. He said on January 9 a complete strike would be observed followed by protests would also be held on January 10. He added that memorandum would be submitted to Deputy Commissioners of the State.
