JAMMU, Mar 18: A delegation of Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) led by its State president and JCC leader Adbul Qayoom Wani called on Minister of Finance and Culture, Dr Haseeb Darbu in his office chamber here today and discussed employees’ issues.
In the meeting the issues which were threadbare discussed included regularization of daily rated employees, release of 17% DA in favour of Government and Public Sector Undertaking employees, pay anomalies in different departments, implementation of Medi-claim of Non-Gazatted employees, financial assistance for the revival of public sector units and release of pending salary of SSA and RMSA teachers and Health and Family Welfare department.
Dr Drabu gave a patient hearing and assured the delegation that all the issues pertaining to the employees’ fraternity will be given top consideration and Government is vigorously considering them.
