JAMMU, July 2: Ek Sath Rang Mandal today presented its 306th Monday Theatre with Vijay Malla’s new progressive Nukkad ” Hamara Hindustan” under Monday Theatre Series at Golemarket, Municipal Park, Gandhi Nagar here.
The theme of the Nukkad was to imbibe the spirit of patriotism among the younger generation of the country.
“Our younger generation doesn’t care to know about their country, it’s culture and history though they should have that information about their Motherland”.
“Our country is known for the people who live peacefully despite of different cultures”.
Country is not formed by big buildings and roads but it is because of people, their culture and history is what the artists tried to explain through the Nukad.
The story goes like that an old person is on a mission of peace in the country but first he defines his country. He says that despite having many casts, religions and regions we all belong to this country known as Hindustan.
Hindustan is not nine words of English but it is a country having a vast history of past age old civilization, it’s people and their language, their culture and history. “Our saints, our defense force and our centuries old traditions,. Then he describes the importance and significance of our National Flag”.
The old man explains that why we sing the National Anthem. Such details and information is needed for this young generation and they should know this all, he adds.
Younger generation is convinced by the message of old man and they promise to convey this message. The old man asks them to take pledge that they will respect their Hindustan. it’s National Anthem and National Flag. National Song Sarey Jahan Sey Achha Hindustan Hamara was sung by the actors.
A large number of people appreciated the theme and efforts of ESRM.
Actors who acted were Mrs Kaanta Sharma, Dr, Ripu Daman Parihar, Raju Mad, Ashok Sharma, Shelly Manhas, Kavita Shahid and Vijay Malla.
