JAMMU, Nov 9: Under its Monday Theatre Series, Ek Sath Rang Mandal in collaboration with BLSKS, today presented new progressive street corner play “Mun Meila Aur Tun Ko Dhoye” at BC Park, near KC Chowk Jammu.
The play was about the people who are having dual face and used to misguide persons for their vested interests.
Story line of this play revolves around a saintly person, who distributes holy books of all religions among students without differentiating on the basis of caste, colour and creed. He asks children to read these books for their own knowledge and success. This is objected by certain people who accuse this old man of misguiding children. However, when they check the holy books, they were astonished to see that old man was distributing books from every religion. They begged pardon from the old man and felt ashamed.
Then the old narrates them a couplet of famous Urdu poet Nida Fazli; ” Ghar Se Masjid Hai Bahut Door Chalo Kush Aisa Kar Lein, Kisi Rote Huye Bacche Ko Hunsaya Jaye.”
The old man convinces them that we should not adopt dual character. “We should be honest with each other. We should respect every religion and develop brotherhood. Hate is no solution to mankind. We should avoid creating misunderstanding with each other. Love and respect should be our motto,” he says..
Musician Vishal among a large number of people witnessed the play and appreciated the theme.
Actors who acted, were Mandeep Kour (special appearance) from Amritsar, Mohd Shakoor, Kashish Gupta, Rahul Jacker, Adison, Master Nihal, Royal Brother, Qurat-Ul-Ain and Vijay Malla. The play was written and directed by Vijay Malla.
