Ekam Sanatan Dal to contest Jammu, Kathua among 400 LS seats

JAMMU, Dec 12: After the name change approval accorded by the Election Commission of India, the Ekam Sanatan Bharat Dal, chief Advocate Ankur Sharma today announced that the party was ready to contest Lok Sabha elections across the length and breadth of the country in all States and UTs.
“The Ekam Sanatan Bharat Dal, erstwhile IkkJutt Jammu, will contest two Parliamentary seats from Jammu-Samba-Reasi and Udhampur- Kathua-Doda Lok Sabha constituencies while in total, more than 400 MP candidates will be fielded by the party across the country on one common symbol,” he said, while talking to media persons, here today.
Ankur Sharma also informed that the name change process from IkkJutt Jammu to Ekam Sanatan Bharat was initiated by the party in the month of April 2023 and was completed on 5th December 2023 when the Election Commission of India gave it a go ahead.
Pertinent to mention here is that IkKJutt Jammu had become Pan India in April 2023 and its first convention was organised at Haridwar where more than 2000 Founder members covering 28 States and all UTs joined hands. Following this, State Steering Committees in all states of India were notified. Elections to the post of State President were thereafter conducted and State working committees were also formed.
Ankur Sharma urged people to vote and support Ekam Sanatan Bharat Dal in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha Elections so that the war for political empowerment of Sanatan Sanskriti and civilisation can be fought affective through democratic means.
