JAMMU, June 14: Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust (JKDT), which is managing the historic Sudhmahadev temple, has made elaborate arrangements for forthcoming Sudhmahadev Mela which commences from June 27 at famous pilgrim resort Sudhmahadev.
This was announced by the President of the Dharmarth Trust Council, BR Kundal after visiting Sudhmahadev to stock of the arrangements and facilities being provided to the devotees during the Mela.
Kundal convened a meeting of the Trust officials and prominent local citizens to discuss the arrangements and other facilities. He was given a detailed account of the arrangements regarding accommodation, ‘langer’, drinking water and other facilities for the devotees.
“The main attraction of this year’s mela will be the display of ‘Shiv Rudhri’ for darshan,” Kundal disclosed.
Meanwhile, all the three temples Gouri Kund, Mantalai and Sudhmahadev have been renovated and the facilities upgraded by the Trust.
A team of officials is being deputed from Jammu to supervise the arrangements so that devotees may not face any problem or inconvenience during the Mela.
