RAJOURI, Aug 26: A middle aged person was killed while his younger brother seriously injured when their Scorpio vehicle rolled down into a 150 feet deep gorge near Palma in disrtrict Rajouri today.
A police spokesman told the Excelsior that mishap took place at around 11.30 am when 45-year-old Majid Hussain, son of Aziz Din and his 32 year old brother Riaz Ahmed, were moving towards Rajouri from their home at Kandi. Near Palma their vehicle ( JK02AL/ 6463) went out of control and it rolled down into a gorge. While Majid was killed on the spot due to serious head injury, Riaz was rushed to District Hospital Rajouri by police, He was later referred to GMC&H, Jammu. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
