JAMMU, May 16: An elderly man who consumed some poisonous substance on May 9 at his residence in Sohanjana area of city outskirts, died today at Government Medical College and Hospital, here.
The man identified as Thunki Ram (65) son of Tara Chand and resident of Sohanjana, was shifted to GMCH, Jammu, on May 9 after he consumed some poisonous substance.
However, the man expired today at about 6.30 am. After conducting postmortem, his body was handed over to his legal heirs.
The concerned police had already taken cognizance of the matter.
