RAJOURI, June 17: An elderly man today slipped down into the nallah from a bridge in near Thannamandi today.
The police identified the deceased as Mohd Sadiq (65), son of Juma, resident of Behrote. The police said according to eye-witnesses, this man apparently slipped on Saurha bridge and then fell into the nallah.
The people of the area rushed towards the site and also informed police. He was died on the spot with head injuries. Later, his dead body was shifted to Thannamandi hospital. The police has registered a case in this connection.
