JAMMU, Sept 25: Elections of Jammu University Class Representatives and Department Representatives were held peacefully on Monday at JU Main Campus as well as all the offsite campuses of the university.

PG students cast their votes for electing the Class Representatives while M Phil and Ph D scholar elected the Department Representatives as part of first round of the elections for Jammu University Students Educative Council.
The elections in all departments in JU main campus as well as the offsite campuses were held peacefully and the results will be officially declared tomorrow, informed Dr M A Malik, who is acting as the election commissioner.
The elected CRs and DRs will form the JU Educative Council consisting of a president, vice-president and other office bearers. Elections for the Educative Council will be held on October 6.
