JAMMU, Jan 30: A delegation of J&K Electrical Employees Union today called on Managing Director JKSPDC at Satwari and discussed the issue of unbundling and other issues for the betterment of power employees with him.
As per a release, the delegation was led by president of the Union, Mir Abdul Salam Rajpuri and he was among others accompanied by provincial president Jammu, Kishan Singh Jamwal.
Later the delegation also met with Convener DPC/Chief Engineer EM&RE Jammu and demanded convening of DPC from time to time with implementation of SRO 59 which is the burning issue of Jammu province. He also discussed the other issues being faced by PDD employees.
Later Rajpuri called on principal Secretary, Power Sandeep Kumar and appealed him that the unbundling of PDD be kept in abeyance till its blue print is discussed with Union leadership and the consent is taken from representatives of power employees.
The other members of delegation included G M Qazi, chairman of the Union and M K Tiku its advisor.
