Eleven FIRs registered for violating DM’s order

SAMBA, July 28: Eleven case FIRs have been registered against the house/land owners in district Samba for violating DM Order US 163 Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita who failed to provide the information/details of tenants/outsiders residing across the district to District Police Samba.
Police said the verification process was initiated by the Samba Police for the outsiders staying as tenants and domestic helpers. During the drive, five cases were registered at Police Station Samba, three cases each at Police Station Ghagwal and Vijaypur respectively under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
The booked house /land owners have been identified as Ravi Kumar, son of Shamsher Singh of Sinki Samba, Veeka Sharma, son of Puran Chand of Bain Camp Samba, Darshan Lal, son of Sai Dass of Sadho Samba, Makhan Singh, son of Karnail Singh of Sadho Samba, Balwan Singh, son of Amar Singh of Sadho Samba, Prem Nath, son of Kaka Ram of Malani Rajpura, Pankaj Kumar, son of Kasturi Lal of Lala Chack Rajpura, Luthal Gupta, son of Bhadur Chand of Rajpura, Baj Ram, son of Prithvi Raj of Shivnagar, Vijaypur, Sujata Rani, wife of Shamsher Singh of Vijaypur and Surinder Kour, wife of Jaswant Singh of Vijaypur.
Police said that District Magistrate Samba has already issued the orders for the owners to get the police verification of the tenants done.
Samba Police appeals to its citizens to come forward and provide the complete details of their tenants/domestic helpers to their nearest Police Station and get the Police verification done timely.
