The recent reservation bill for women in India passed by Parliament is a historical step taken by the Govt. Our women have suffered all along due to their exploitation by male domination. As such they lagged behind in every sphere of life. The Nations who have attained greatness by paying proper respect to women hold high esteem in the world. That country which does not respect women have never secure great heights nor will ever be in future. Women must be put in a position to solve their own problems in their own way. No one can or ought to do this or that for them. Our Indian women are as capable of doing any job as anyone in the other parts of the world.
Women will work out their own future much better too, than men can do for them. All the mischief to women has come because men undertook to shape the destiny of women. All womenfolk are our mothers, sisters, daughters and as such our flesh and stood. I think neglecting women is a great sin and is one of the causes of our downfall. No amount of politics would be of any use until our women receive education, become well fed and also well cared. The upliftment of the women and their awakening must come first, then only can our country move forward.
