JAMMU, Mar 7: A meeting of educated youths of Unemployed Youth Forum (UYF) was held here today under the chairmanship of Bharat Bhushan to discuss the problems of unemployed and over-aged youths. The meeting urged the Government to employ unemployed youths rather than retired persons.
The meeting, expressed grave concern over the Government’s negligent attitude towards educated unemployed youths.
Referring to the process of reemployment being done by the all departments, the meeting said that the unemployed youths and over aged persons are being deprived of the employment while the retired employees are being reappointed on contractual basis.
The meeting requested the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah to stop the reemployment of retired persons, who had already served for their term, and think about the educated unemployed youths, who according to CM are the future of the State.
