JAMMU, Sept 20: The Government today directed employees working in various Government departments of the Union Territory not to approach higher offices like President’s Secretariat, Prime Minister’s Office and Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat bypassing proper channels.
An order to this effect was issued today by Commissioner/Secretary General Administration Department (GAD) Manoj Kumar Dwivedi.
The Government officers/officials have been asked to approach the appropriate authorities for redressal of genuine grievances.
“Any violation of the instructions by any employee will invite strict disciplinary action,” the GAD order said.
