Employees attain superannuation

JAMMU, July 29: A Jammu University professor and some employees of SKUAST-Jammu were today given warm farewell on their retirement after they attained the age of superannuation.
On his retirement, Prof. Shiv Dev Singh Manhas, Dean Faculty of Arts, Convener BOS in Dogri and HOD Dogri was today accorded a warm farewell by Research Scholars of PG Department of Dogri.
A simple function was organized in this regard in the Department which was attended by all HODs of Languages Departments, Research Scholars and students.
Prof. Shohab Inayat Malik, former Dean Faculty of Arts & former HOD Urdu and Director, IMFA, University of Jammu; Prof. Sushma Gupta, HOD Sanskrit; Prof. Baljeet Kour, HOD Punjabi and Dr. Parduman Singh spoke on the occasion.
All wished happy and prosperous post retirement life to Prof. Manhas.
Meanwhile, Non Teaching Employees Association of SKUAST-Jammu (NTEAJ) accorded a warm send-off to Vijay Kumar, HA at Registrar Office; J.K Baru FCLA, Mega Seed and Pritam Raina, FCLA Division of Sericulture on their retirement after attaining the age of superannuation.
Dr. S.K Gupta, Director Extension; Dr. A.K Mondal, Dean FOA; K.D Singh, president NTEAJ; Zamir Ul Haq, general secretary; Rajesh Sharma, senior vice president; Varun Dubey, joint secretary; Seema Bhat, secretary; Dheeraj Rajwal, publicity secretary; Kewal Swaroop, treasurer; Tirath Ram, joint treasurer; Dr. Vikas Sharma, president TAJ; Dr. Vivek Arya, general secretary TAJ and others were also present on the occasion.
