SRINAGAR, May 4: The Jammu and Kashmir All Department Clerical Staff Association (JKADCSA) has claimed that many employees were facing lot of problems in withdrawal of their salaries with the introduction of PaySystem and expressed resentment over denial of TA to the employees by Treasuries.
President of the Association, Jeelani Naik in a press statement today said that J&K UT Administration introduced the PaySystem with effect from April 14, 2020 and the medium of the drawal of the salary from the month of April 2020 was advised to draw through JK-PaySys. All employees appreciated the initiative taken by the Government but unfortunately having limitation of resources and buggy JKPaySys portal have put all DDOs of UT of J&K in trouble as the portal sans various features, sections and modules are unclassified which lead to confusion to the users/ employees. The internet (2G) is very slow and one is unable to open the site. There is no proper assistance being received from the NIC and the employees have been left to suffer. There is no internet facility in many remote areas.
“Surprising and annoying is that launching the portal without testing in worst case scenario has made it non-functional and now the supervisory team is trying to over come it by restricting the features. Moreover the, system need high end internet speed,” he added.
The Association suggested to let the system put on testing mode for some time and ensure drawal of salary of the employees through old existing system.
The Association also expressed resentment over denial of TA to employees even those who are rendering their services as usual. It said the decision of the Govt was not fair.
JKADCSA (MF) also demanded setting up of separate benches of CAT Chandigarh at Jammu and Srinagar High Courts so that employees of the J&K UT do not suffer any more. It sought the intervention of the Lt Governor, J&K UT, GC Murmu into the above mentioned issues.
