RAMBAN, Mar 20: MGNREGA employees held protest at Banihal to project their genuine demands, today.
The protesters were demanding job policy, job chart, staff deputation of technical and non technical staff from other departments, basic salary with yearly increments and separate salary component.
President, MGNREGA Association, Banihal Unit said that few days back they met Minister for Rural Development and apprised him about our genuine demands, but nothing has been done till today.
If our demands are not redressed, we will continue our protest, he asserted.
