JAMMU, Oct 31: Coordination Committee of J&K Govt Employees and Workers Joint Action Committee  and J&K Pensioners Forum have strongly criticized the State Government for ignoring issues of the employees and pensioners despite having agreed to by the Government and resolved to give an appropriate reply to the National Conference and Congress Parties in the coming Assembly elections.
Addressing a joint press conference here today Ram Kumar Sharma,  Balwan Singh Jamwal, Madan Sangral, Ravi Kant Gupta and others alleged that both NC and Congress leaders have befooled the employees and pensioners  and cared a fig for them.   They alleged that Government denied release of DA, enhancement of Medical allowance and breached the agreement by not regularizing daily rated/ consolidated/ contractual and need base workers. They condemned this Government and termed it as anti-employee and anti worker.
Ram Kumar said it is most heinous that this Government has not released  two DA installment of 10 % and 7 %  in favour of employees and pensioners, despite the fact that the price index is touching the sky limit, creating economic hurdles for the employees and pensioners. He alleged that the Government has cared a fig towards the agreements of Feb 19, 2009; May 14, 2010 and Sept 15, 2011  and kept on delaying tactics to hoodwink the employees and pensioners. Moreover, thousands of daily rated, casual and need base workers have not been regularized. Three committees were also framed but the employees were only befooled as the  Government kept buying time. A R Rather has caused much damage to the interests of the employees and daily rated workers. It is highly condemnable on the part of Omar Government that even the Gratuity and GP Fund of the employees/ pensioners is not being cleared for the last one year.  These senior citizens are frustrated for non- payment of their pending bills in the Treasuries.
The Coordindation Committee resolved to given an appropriate reply to the NC and Congress Parties and urged upon the employees and pensioners to throw out this regime.
