JAMMU, Oct 17: Uncertainty looms large over the fate of more than 200 employees of Gramin Vikas Trust, a wing of the PSU KRIBHCO Fertilisers, who are actively involved in the Government of India’s flagship program Jal Jeevan Mission in Jammu and Kashmir.
For the past 6-8 months, these employees have been struggling to get their salaries from the organization. Despite their continuous efforts to engage with the management, their grievances have allegedly gone unnoticed, leaving them in a dire financial predicament.
These individuals working with the Gramin Vikas Trust have played an integral role in the execution and implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission, contributing significantly to its progress and success. However, their fate is now at risk, and they are facing severe challenges in maintaining their daily livelihoods.
The aggrieved employees have appealed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister for Cooperative Society Amit Shah to intervene into the matter for necessary action so that their salaries are released without further delay.
