Employees submit charter of demands to JDA Vice-Chairman

JAMMU, Sept 19:   A delegation of JDA Employees and Workers Union (JDAEWU) led by president of the Union, Rajinder Kumar, today met to the Vice-Chairman, JDA, and submitted a charter of demands.
The demands included promotion of Helpers, Motor Men, Assistant Work Supervisors, Supervisors, Assistant Surveyors, Assistant Building Inspectors and Accountants  to next Grade, regularization of all daily wagers, casual labourers and consolidated workers engaged in the department, implementation of SRO- 43, release of Grade in favour of Rent Collectors and promotion of Engineering Wing of the department.
The president of the Union also brought to the notice of the Vice-Chairman that though JDA is developing various colonies for general public but a lot of JDA employees do not have their own residential houses and deserve for allotment of plot under a special quota.
The Vice-Chairman assured the employees’ delegation that their all genuine demands would be fulfilled by the 2nd week of October 2013.
Ramesh Kumar, Ravinder Koul, Javed Malik and many others were part of the delegation.
