The Institute requires the services of a Library Assistant to be engaged on contract basis for a period of two years on a consolidated salary of Rs. 10,000/- per month.
Interested candidates within the age group of 18-40 years as on 01-01-2014, having Bachelors Degree in Library & Information Sciences with 1 year work experience in any recognized Institution, may apply to the Director of the Institute on prescribed format. Experience certificates should be supported by the Bank Account Statement reflecting therein the salary credited for the period of previous job.
Application forms can be had from the office of the Institute at Pampore Kashmir / J.L.N. Udhyog Bhawan, Rail Head Complex, Jammu against a cash payment of Rs. 100/-.
Application forms complete in all respects along with non-refundable Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- favouring Director JKEDI, should reach the office of the Institute of Pampore Kashmir / J.L.N. Udhyog Bhawan, Rail Head Complex, Jammu by or before October 25, 2014 upto 4.00 p.m.
In case the number of candidates is large, they shall have to undergo a screening test for short listing. Candidates who qualify the test will be called for viva-voce.

1. The age of Applicant should not be less than 18 years.
2. The applicant must be permanent resident of particular Village, where the School is functioning and holding permanent resident certificate of J&K State.
3. The applicant must be possessing minimum basic qualification 10+2 pass and Govt. ITI trained (any qualification acquired after cut off date for receipt of application as per this adveritsement, shall not be cnnsidered).
4. The applicant must attach the attested photo copies of the following certificates/ testimonials with the application form: –
A. Permanent Residence Certificate
B. Matriculation Certificate for D.O.B.
C. All Academic qualification certificates along with marks lists.
D. Diploma of Govt. ITI training along wlth marks list.
E. Self addressed envelope, affixed with postal stamp worth Rs. 5/-,
F. Copy of recent pass-port size photograph of the applicant duly attested by the Gazetted Officer by pasted on the application form.
5. The applicant shall be selected on the basis of strict merit at village level.
6. The monthly honorarium of Vocational Instructor shall be Rs. 4000/-
7. The selected candidate shall have to enter into agreement with the NCLP society that he/she shall not apply for transfer from the post held by him/her at initial appointment and shall adhere to the all terms and conditions mentioned in NCLP Guidelines, issued by M.O.L.E.G.O.I.
8. The chairman NCLP society reserves the right to discontinue the engagement of the Vocational Instructor at any time if his/ her performance is not found satisfactory.
9. Candidate found guilty of impersonation or submitting fabricated document or documents which have been tempered with or making statement incorrect or false, suppressing material information will render him/; her liable for criminal prosecution.
