Srinagar :Two jawans have been injured after an encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in Shopian district on Tuesday. The injured jawans have been shifted to an army hospital in Srinagar for treatment.
A team of Shopian police and Rashtriya Rifles reached Kundalan in Shopian after the security forces had received information of about 2 to 3 militants hiding inside a house in the area. A search operation has been launched to nab the hiding terrorists.
The area has been cordoned off by the CRPF team as exchange of fire continues. (Agencies)
