SRINAGAR: An encounter ensued between militants and security forces in the central Kashmir district of Ganderbal on Monday, a police spokesman said.
He said that militants attacked a security force party at village Bakoora in Ganderbal district. The fire was returned ensuing in an encounter, he said adding the entire area has been cordoned off and a massive search operation has been launched.
