SUNDERBANI, Mar 6: On the direction of Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Sunderbani Vinod Kumar Benhal, Naib Tehsildar Sunderbani Parshotam Singh today along with staff members evicted the encroachment from Panchayat Ghar, Marchola in tehsil Sunderbani today.
Official sources said that two persons namely, Balak Ram, son of Isher Dass and Noor Hussain, son of Wali Mohd, both residents of village Marchola, had encroached all rooms of Panchayat Ghar Marchola on the behest of a few political people. They had kept own goods and also locked these rooms.
Since 2018 people this Panchayat were complaining to Block Development Officer (BDO) Siot but he couldn’t took any action.
On Friday a deputation led by Sarpanch Marchola along with Panches and prominent people met ADM Sunderbani. Today, Naib Tehsildar Parshotam Singh reached on the spot and evicted encroachment.
On this occasion, Sarpanch Sukhdev Kour, Naib Sarpanch Ajeet Singh, Jasmeer Singh, Panch Mohd Alam, Karan Dutt and Mahan Lal were also present.
