JAMMU, Dec 31: A deputation of Sangram Sena under the leadership of R R Raina (president) today met Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and apprised him of the encroachment of the road leading to Dewan Mandir, Jammu.
The Mayor was told that shopkeepers have encroached upon a large part of the road by displaying their goods on road side, which are causing hurdles to the general public and devotees visiting the temple.
He further apprised him that the road is already congested and on the top of that four-wheelers entry on the roads further aggravates the sufferings of people by causing heavy traffic jams.
The Mayor assured the deputation of needful action.
