Encroachment on Railway road leads to accident

KATHUA, July 29: There was a narrow escape for many people when a heavy loaded truck caused accident on busy and encroached Railway road here, today.
Three vehicles including two motor cycles and a car was damaged in the accident. The accident took place when a heavy loaded truck bearing Registration Number PB23M 0772 rammed in a stranded vehicle after the driver lost control over the truck. Three vehicles were damaged but public moving on the road had a narrow escape. The shopkeepers of Railway road held protest demonstration against the illegal encroachment made by vendors and Rehariwala on busy road. The shopkeeper, Sat Paul alleged that due to illegal encroachment, serious accidents took place few years earlier claiming the lives of three persons.
The District administration and Municipal Council is in deep slumber and did not bother to remove illegal encroachments. They demanded immediately action on illegal encroachment on busy Railway road.
