JAMMU, Mar 14: Tehsildar Jourian Rajesh Baru today conducted anti- encroachment drive and demolished the illegal construction adjoining nallah at Muthi Maira.
On the occasion, Naib Tehsildar Bal Krishan and local police team led by SHO Sukhbir Singh and other staff members of Revenue Department were also present.
The drive was conducted after the local people of area lodged a complaint against the encroacher.
Speaking on the occasion, Tehsildar Rajesh Baru urged upon the people to avoid such illegal constructions and further asked the people to remain alert about such constructions and if any one indulges in such activities, they must inform the officers of the department, so that necessary action would be taken against the persons responsible.
