JAMMU, Feb 28: Jammu University Research Scholar Executive Association (JURSEA) has demanded that highly educated, Urdu and Computer knowing unemployed youth should be engaged for work on the election duties.
Addressing media persons, JURSEA general secretary Akshey Sharma said that Election Department has not done well by engaging teachers of Government school on the special duty of Election Duties of social awareness and other duties also.
“The teachers are not able to perform the teaching duties as they are deputed to the duties of Electoral Procedures while student community is suffering because of the system,” he lamented adding that studies in the schools were kept on the high risk.
“This system is totally unethical and illegal because in this unforeseen system of Governess three innocent communities are suffering,” he added and explained that besides teachers and students, victim of this bad policy were the unemployed and highly qualified youth.
“The highly educated, Urdu and Computer knowing unemployed youth can be adjusted on the work of the election duties as it will give reduce errors in the electoral lists besides employment to youth,” he explained.
JURSEA general secretary appealed to the Chief Minister to keep all these suggestions in consideration and look into this matter personally for quick action.
