Engineering students hold massive demonstration at JU

Students of various Engineering Colleges holding protest demonstration in Jammu University on Friday.

JAMMU, Oct 12: Continuing their protest against Jammu University for the cancellation of the supplementary exams of engineering students, the students of various engineering colleges boycotted their classes and held a massive protest demonstration at University of Jammu, here today.
Students of engineering colleges of Government College of Engineering and Technology (GCET), Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) and MBS College of Engineering and Technology assembled at the University and raised slogans against Jammu University alleging that no concrete decision has been taken by the authorities to concede their demands.
The students Shivam, Kunal Gupta, Vinay, Aditya, Ashfaq and others while expressing their views said that University should take back its decision and issue an order of restarting the supplementary system in engineering.
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarathi Parishad (ABVP) and Democratic Party Nationalist Student Voice (DPNSV) have extended full support to the students.
Meanwhile, the students warned that the strike will go on till University issues written order of restarting the supplementary system.
