JAMMU, Mar 28: Minister for Social Welfare, Sakina Itoo today informed Legislative Assembly that a proposal to enhance the rate of pension in favour of old aged and handicapped persons under National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP) was under consideration of the Government.
Replying to a question by Mohammad Irfan Shah, the Social Welfare Minister informed that 600 IGNOAPS and 170 NFBS cases of Batmaloo constituency were pending adding that the issue has been taken with the Central Government for allotment of funds.
