JAMMU, Apr 18: JKPCC working president and party’s contesting candidate from Jammu-Reasi Parliamentary seat Raman Bhalla today cautioned people of J&K against tempting speeches of political parties which have once again appeared on the scene after failing on all fronts and proved huge failure after misguiding people to seek their votes.
“We should listen to everyone’s speeches, so that we can differentiate between those who are telling the truth and those who are lying. After ten years of big promises, speeches and lies, the country is facing an unprecedented unemployment and inflation crisis,” stated Bhalla while addressing election gatherings at Kotli Arjun Singh in Suchetgarh constituency where Jaddev Singh Jagga (former DGPC chairman and president Labana Biradari) today joined Congress.
Prominent among those present on the occasion include ex-MP TS Bajwa, TS Tony, Ravinder Singh, Bushan Dogra, Dalip Kumar, Mohan Choudhary and Charanjeet Bhagat. Similarly, Bhalla also addressed election gatherings at Talab Tillo and Bhour Camp besides an impressive bike rally which passed through all seven sectors of Channi Himmat led by Neeraj Kundan, IYC general secretary Uday Bhanu Chib and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhalla said BJP is master of providing lip service only which has been aptly witnessed in last ten years throughout country including J&K. He said a Prime Minister needs to listen to the people but we are going through a very strange time as nowadays if people speak up for their rights, they are put in jail.
The former Minister underscored the importance of voting sensibly and for those who will keep the rights and dignity of the voters at the centre of their agenda. He attacked the several opposition parties, as well as the BJP, saying the old “drama and empty rhetoric” will not work in the coming election.
Bhalla said if Congress comes to power in the Centre, it will do solid work just as it did when it was in power for ten years. He cautioned people against political parties making ‘tall pre-election promises and asked voters not to get misled and carried away.
