JAMMU, May 19: To conduct detailed enquiry into illegal promotions and creation of posts in Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Dr Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Vice-Chairman Lakes, Conservation and Management Authority, Srinagar, has been appointed as Inquiry Officer.
He shall submit the report to Housing and Urban Development Department, within a week’s time. Joint Commissioner (Planning), Srinagar Municipal Corporation, has been appointed as Presenting Officer in the case.
As per the order, detailed enquiry shall be conducted by the Inquiry Officer into the matter of illegal promotion granted/posts created and reduced viz-a-viz order numbers 966 and 968 of 2016, dated 14-06-2016, issued by then Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, without approval of the Competent Authority.
