JAMMU, Apr 27: Inder Singh Soodan, vice president, PoJK Sikh Intellectuals Forum and counsilor, Ward No.44 has appealed the Government to ensure the distribution of ration to poor local families of the J&K i.e carpenters, auto drivers, labour class, people working in industries, big shops and malls.
In a statement issued here, today he said Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has announced distribution of ration to poor people but the ration which is being distributed is not sufficient as many poor families have been left out especially the working class of J&K UT who were mostly affected by the lockdown.
He said these people are dependent on help from the Government for their two time meal and if they will be neglected they will face starvation as they have no source to purchase the ration.
