JAMMU, Apr 4: Home Department has directed the Director General of Police (DGP) to ensure immediate implementation of the decisions taken in the recent Security Review Coordination Committee meetings and furnish a detailed status report on April 6, 2019.
In a communiqué addressed to the DGP, the Home Department said that consequent upon the recent security review meetings that have taken due note of threat perception specific instructions have been issued to ensure implementation of the decisions.
Reiterating the instructions, the Home Department said that if the security personnel don’t report back to their parent units by or before April 5, 2019, the salary equivalent to the number of days from April 5 till they report back shall be deducted from the salary of the SSPs, Commandants and DDOs of the respective parent units unless the non-reporting of the security personnel is reported by the SSPs, Commandants and DDOs to the ADGP Security.
“In cases where PSOs/guard personnel have been deployed unauthorizedly, the salary equivalent to such personnel would be deducted from the salary of the concerned officers for such unauthorized deployment/ attachment”, the Home Department further said.
The DGP has been asked to furnish a detailed status report on April 6, 2019 followed by weekly update including action taken on the directions regarding deduction of the salary.
