Several deputations meet Ex-CM

SRINAGAR, Feb 1: Chairman DPAP and former J&K Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today urged the LG Administration to ensure ration and adequate power supply to the snow hit areas in Valley.
Several deputations called on Azad today and apprised him of their problems. Azad urgently appealed to the Governor Manoj Sinha for essential provisions like electricity and ration, emphasizing the need for additional relief to mitigate the impact of snow on vulnerable communities.

“I’m delighted that snow has arrived, people were eagerly anticipating it. However, the Government must ensure proper arrangements to navigate its effects,” Azad said.
Azad met various deputations, attentively listening to their concerns and grievances. He provided assurance that he would raise these issues and ensure they are addressed.
Meanwhile, many activists from various parties joined DPAP, pledging to bolster the party and advocate for public concerns. Their commitment adds strength to the party’s mission.
Among others who were present on the occasion included Mohd Amin Bhatt Provincial president, Peer Bilal Zonal president, Amir Bhatt District president, Shafiq Shabnam Provincial, Umar Kakroo and others.
