Ensure victory of Cong to get rid of BJP’s misrule in J&K: Uday, Chib

JAMMU, June 11: Uday Bhanu Chib, national general secretary of Indian Youth Congress (IYC) and Hari Singh Chib, vice president of JKPCC urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir to ensure the victory of the Congress party in the upcoming Assembly elections to end the misrule of BJP in the Union Territory.
Addressing a public meeting in Chinore, Ward No. 62, in the Jammu North Assembly segment, organized by Ali Hussain and Jung Bahadur Singh, the senior Congress leaders expressed heartfelt gratitude for the public’s support during the recent Parliament elections and extended thanks on behalf of Congress candidate, Raman Bhalla , acknowledging the collective efforts and dedication of the local populace.
Uday Bhanu Chib said “Your trust and confidence in the Congress party during the Parliament elections have been truly inspiring. Now, we urge you to continue this momentum and work tirelessly to ensure our victory in the upcoming Assembly elections.”
Hari Singh Chib emphasized the importance of unity and collective effort in overcoming the challenges posed by the current administration. “The misrule of the BJP has brought significant hardships to the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said, adding that it’s imperative that we come together, stronger than ever, to pave the way for a better future under Congress leadership.
Earlier, during the meeting, Ali Hussain and others expressed anger over the acute shortage of drinking water, highlighting that the water supply is currently provided only once every 6-7 days, and then only for a few minutes.
A similar meeting was held at Mohallah Ratian Keran, organized by Gian Chand and Nisha Kumari, Panch. The meeting was attended by Kailash, a Congress leader, along with a large number of men and women who also raised concerns about the shortage of drinking water.
In response, Hari Singh Chib and Uday Bhanu Chib promised to bring this pressing issue to the attention of the administration. They urged the Government to ensure a daily or alternate-day supply of drinking water and to deploy water tanks to provide adequate drinking water to the inhabitants of these areas.
Uday Chib highlighted the Congress party’s commitment to addressing the issues faced by the people, promising a Government that prioritizes development, justice, and equitable growth. He assured the public that their concerns and aspirations would be at the forefront of the party’s agenda.
