JAMMU, Dec 28: Former minister and senior National Conference leader, Ajay Kumar Sadhotra today said that ensuring truce on the International border and LoC will be the real tribute to visionary Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
In a press statement here today Sadhotra said adoption of Vajpayee doctorine for ensuring truce on International Border (IB) and Line of Control (LoC), is a great tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee,
Strongly condemning frequent ceasefire violations on border by Pakistan, senior NC leader said it is sad and unfortunate that civilians are being targeted. He termed the killing of lady on LoC in Uri and martyrdom of an Army officer a cowardice act of Pak troops.
Sadhotra reminded that since 2014 BJP has come to power in Delhi & Jammu & Kashmir, it has utterly failed to instill confidence and sense of security and stability among the inhabitants of IB & LoC as frequent cease fire violations by neighbouring country. He further said sensing the sensitivity and seriousness of problem of frequent cease fire violations `Atalji’ as Prime Minister of India using his statesmanship, diplomatic and administrative skills ensured that truce is maintained at all costs, so that IB and LoC inhabitants could also live peaceful life.
NC leader said inhabitants of border at present are living life full of miseries, insecurity, uncertainty and instability. Frequent loss of civilians and Army personnel and loss of Kharif, Rabi crops and livestocks has become order of the day. In atmosphere of fear it is difficult to send children to schools, reach health care centres. The border inhabitants are very brave hearts and second line of defence of our country.
Sadhotra emphasized the need of adoption of Vajpayee doctorine by the BJP Govt and take all diplomatic and administrative steps to ensure truce on border to save border brave hearts from further miseries.
