RAJOURI, Oct 8: Block Medical Officer Darhal Dr Iqbal Malik today placed all the four employees of a new type primary Health Centre at Dhoke under suspension after the institution was found locked during surprise inspection.
Official sources said that after receiving the complaint, a team headed by Block Medical Officer Darhal Dr Iqbal today paid a surprise visit to NTPHC Dhoke in Darhal block of district Rajouri and found the institution locked with no employee visible.
Taking a strong note of such negligence on the part of staff, all the officials posted at the centre were placed under suspension and attached to CMO’s office at Rajouri. Directions were issued by the CMO to charge-sheet all the absentee employees.
The employees who are suspended are- Abdul Hamid Pharmacist,Shamim Akhter FMPHW, Mohd Shabir nursing orderly and Abdul Majid Safaiwalla.
The BMO said that directions have been issued by the higher authorities to monitor the attendance of staff in various health institutions so that medical care services could be provided to the people at their door step.
