JAMMU, July 17: Entrepreneurs of Balol Estate, Bari Brahmana (Samba) adjacent to SIDCO Industrial Complex, Bari Brahmana has appealed Governor to intervene personally and directed the authorities concerned to give permission to them to construct factory buildings and start their units.
In a memorandum addressed to LG GC Murmu, the aggrieved entrepreneurs said that they were allotted industrial plots in the year 2018 and after completing all the formalities of payment of land premium, they entered into lease deed and got possession of the plots where they raised protective walls and fixing gates etc.
“However, we are not being permitted to construct factory buildings and take other effective steps to start our industrial units,” they said, adding, they approached MD JK SIDCO, Director Industries and Commerce, Commissioner Secretary Industries and Commerce and Advisor to LG, KK Sharma, who gave them only assurances while the problem is lingering on.
Stating that they have already made huge investments by earth-filling of plots, raising boundary walls, construction water tanks and labour quarters, they appealed Lt Governor GC Murmu to look into the matter sympathetically and resolve the issue on priority as their career are on stake.
