POONCH, Apr 29: An awareness program of Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 organised by Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) Jammu Office was held here today.
The programme was held in the presence of Rizwan Uddin, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I, along with District Nodal Officer Devinder Singh, Enforcement Officer.
Welcoming the officials of the EPFO, the Addl. DDC welcomed Yasin M. Choudhary , DC Poonch and Rizwan Uddin, RPFC-I, Regional Office Jammu for organizing such program in District Poonch.
Then Deputy Commissioner, Poonch in his remarks appreciated the steps taken by EPFO, Jammu under the able guidance of Rizwan Uddin, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I, for providing the services to the registered Employees of Industrial & other Fraternities and also for conducting such seminar to educate the stakeholders in respect of various schemes of EPFO which includes “The Employees Provident Funds Scheme, 1952 (EPF), The Employees’ Pension Scheme 1995 (EPS), The Employees Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme, 1976 (EDLI)”.
He also advised the employer or employee to come forward and put forth the difficulties, if any being faced by them.
Speaking on the occasion, Rizwan Uddin, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I, apprised the stakeholders about various initiatives undertaken by EPFO under Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 such as E-Nomination, UAN Activation, KYC Updation, Bank, Aadhar Seeding, Online ECR Filling, Salient Features of Employees Deposit Linked Insurance (EDLI) Scheme, 1976, Employees’ Pension Scheme 1995 benefits for the Registered Employees and other benefits.
The handholding session was also provided to the employers for registration of DSC/E-Sign, filing of ECR challans etc.
During the course of discussions, the members present raised numbers of issues pertaining to the EPFO Office and on spot directions has been given by Rizwan Uddin, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I, to resolve the issue on priority basis.
Among others who were present during the function included Sandesh Kumar Sharma, Addl. DDC, Poonch, Arif Mohd., Assistant Labour Commissioner, Dr. Sarfraz, Professor, GDC, Poonch and Javed Iqbal, District Mineral Officer, Poonch.
